considering solas’ personality and his comments about ‘i offered to share knowledge [to the dalish] and they attacked me for no greater reason than their own superstition’ makes me highly suspect solas just popped in there and went ‘wrong wrong you’re all wrong all your ancestors are wrong everything you value is wrong trust me i’m a random bald elf and all of your traditions are wrong and pathetic and hey wait why are you getting mad why aren’t you LISTENING to me’
